Science and Naturalism?

I've noticed lately that Atheism clings to naturalistic answers for everything. Naturalism is a view point that is simply a counter to creationism. Science today will ONLY accept answers of the natural variety, any notion of a creator or conscious creation process are throw out on sight. This makes things very one sided as the scientists are leaving out a plethora of possible beginnings for all existence. They are guilty of trying to force a naturalistic answer instead of looking for a real solid answer. Science has become another word for naturalism, if the universe did have a creator they would dismiss it and we would never know where or what we came from. Why do they do this?
