What do you think of ethanol from corn (for vehicle fuel)- good or a waste of taxpayer money?

It's a total waste of the Taxpayers money. It's another form of subsidy to the farmers by guaranteeing them a paying crop at the expense of the American Taxpayer. Now the only guarantee is HIGH food prices and grain shortages since the farmers sell their crops to the Ethanol companies instead of the open markets for food and livestock.
