How many people are deaf AND blind today?

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know about how many deaf and blind people there are now? Like how many people out of 1000 are deaf and blind before they are 10 years old? I was just reading a piece of writing by Helen Keller and I just wondered how often her case happens.
