When we provide thermal energy to an intrinsic & extrinsic semiconductor....?
Why do we have holes (during the breaking of covalent bonds) in an intrinsic semiconductor, while no holes are generated during the excitation of the "extra dopant electron" ( uming no breakage of covalent bonds ) in an extrinsic semiconductor....?
