Atheists and Christians and Jewish people! Is it true the more education you have the blinder you seem to be?

What do you think of this? Isn't it true that sometimes the most simple and profound truths come from children? Is there such a thing as being over educated to the point where you view yourself as the absolut authority on spiritual things? Please explain! Thanks!
