Hosting a Tournament Issue?

A friend told me if i charge people 5 dollars to enter in my black ops tournament i can get sued by trey arc or what ever call of duty company is because im obtaining a profit for hosting the tournament. He said because i used the words " Black Ops Tournament" its stealing their name or something and they can take legal action about it. I told him I used " Black Ops Tournament" not " Call of duty black ops tournament " . What side is right and what should i do before hosting a local tournament in my geographic area?
