Blood Pressure Skyrocketing?

Hey, I'm in my early 20s and reasonably fit, but over the last 2 months or so my blood pressure has just skyrocketed. It used to be just above 120 for my systolic, and around 85 for my diastolic but last I checked (on an automatic one at a drug store) it was something like 153/87 and over the last couple weeks whenever I was at the drug store I would check and it steadily increased. I plan on going to a doctors when I get the chance, but for now what can any of you say about it?
